When I Was Young... The Stone Roses
The Stone Roses are by far one of the most important bands of the last 30 years and have inspired countless other bands – including Ride and Oasis. I never got to see them live unfortunately but I’ve loved their music ever since the release of ‘The Stone Roses’ in 1989 (I even quite liked ‘The Second Coming’). Arguably their best track was ‘ I Wanna Be Adored’ which was not only a fantastic song but also featured John Squire’s incredible artwork on the vinyl sleeve. I’m pretty sure it was released before CD singles but maybe not…
