I remember the first time I really heard Pink Floyd. I'd obviously seen bits of The Wall as a kid and knew about Dark Side of the Moon, but I hadn't really 'heard' them or rather listened to them... I was in my friend John's car many, many years ago car and he put on the solo to Comfortably Numb and it completely blew my mind. From that moment I was hooked.

'Dark Side' was a constant companion throughout my teens and early 20s - it still is now, come to think of it.
